Launched in 2007, Paper and Thread has been designing custom stationery with a focus on the unconventional.  We are proud to offer both letterpress and digital printing using only the highest quality materials and craftsmanship.  By offering green paper options, printing, and in-house recycling, we truly are a green option for your stationery needs.  The studio is located in the Southern California coastal community of Carlsbad, where we meet with local clients and create all of our pieces.

After meeting with each client, Lori still gets giddy to start the designs and bring scattered visions and ideas to life through digital and print design.  Fresh color palettes, creative concepts, and the purpose and enthusiasm behind the design, combine to make her job ideal.  Her style is clean, simple, with a bit of fancy and a dash of whimsy.  Lori enjoys family dance parties with her young son and exchanging love letters with her handsome husband.
